It’s been one of those months that felt both long and short — perhaps a sign of age, or simply the pace of markets. Either way, it’s been a rewarding one for the portfolio.
We exited our position in Halfords Group plc with a solid +35% gain, just a few weeks after initiating the holding. The timing aligned well with their results, which acted as a catalyst for the move higher.
A question some may ask: “Why sell now? The share price has gone up even more since.”
To that, I’d say this:
“Bulls make money, bears make money, pigs get slaughtered”
